World-renowned Hollywood star Bo Derek swam the 3.5 miles racecourse of the Dardanelles in the 27th Dardanelles Strait Swimming Race
Hundreds of swimmers dived into the sea from Eceabat beach at 10am on Friday in the 27th Dardannelles Strait Swimming Race. One of theswimmers was world-renowned Hollywood star Bo Derek, who stroke out the 3.5 miles racecourse, but could not finish the race in the set 90 minutes with another group of failed swimmers.
“I thought about giving up for a couple of times, but I managed to complete the course with the motivation of my friends,” said Bo Derek to press members after leaving the sea from Canakkale side.
